I can also arrange to have prints framed as per your requirements. There are numerous options available – contact me for more information.
For those considering larger prints, you might be interested to know that my images are 21 megapixels (5,600 x 3,700) in RAW format. This translates to TIFF files in excess of 100MB per image. Bottom line: unless you plan to be enlarging an image to billboard size, your image will appear as sharp as it does on the screen.
Printing
I work with suppliers who use the highest quality materials in their production processes.
My standard prints use Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper and are printed using light, not ink. Larger prints are printed on the same high quality paper but use genuine archival Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. Other options for exhibition quality prints include Endura and Fuji Supergloss paper.
Standard prints are delivered on a white core backboard and mounted on a thick, white cardboard frame used for professional portraits. I sign and label the print on the frame. You can then insert these mounts directly into a pre-made frame or remove the print and mount/frame it as you see fit.
My canvases are printed on high quality artists cloth using archival Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. All of the canvas prints are professionally stretched around a custom made frame and finished with backing tape and string, ready to hang on your wall.
Ordering a non-standard size may involve cropping parts of the image – I will discuss this with you prior to printing.
Printed images do not have the large watermark as they do on the site. This is used for copyright prevention only.
Note that the colour of your prints and canvases may differ from those that you see on your monitor due to variances across monitor brands, monitor settings and the variations involved in the printing process. I work closely with my suppliers to minimise these but much is outside of my control. If you have concerns, please contact me in advance of your order.
Shipping
I use a variety of couriers to deliver my prints and canvases around Australia and the world. All of my prints are shipped in crush-proof envelopes or boxes and can be tracked.
I charge a fair rate for shipping and handling, based on the price of the service requested. Prices start at around AU$15 for single prints and AU$20 for canvases, delivered domestically within Australia. Express shipping is available. I combine shipping where possible. Contact me for a shipping quote.
For customers outside Australia who may (or may not) be subject to other taxes, duties and/or clearance charges, you are responsible for any additional importation costs imposed. Please confirm these with your local authorities prior to ordering.
Delivery times
You can calculate your expected delivery time by combining Preparation time and Shipping time. I will keep you updated throughout the order process.
Preparation time for a standard print is generally one week. Canvases may take up to four weeks to prepare. Both may be longer during busy periods.
Shipping times are entirely dependent on the service used and the location being shipped to. Domestic deliveries in Australia are generally completed within 3-4 working days. Deliveries to other locations will vary.
Rush orders are available at additional cost (approximately 50% of the standard order cost).
Payment
I accept debit and credit card via PayPal, or direct deposit into my bank account. All payment must be in Australian dollars and the sender pays any bank fees. I will supply payment details on order confirmation.
You do not require a PayPal account to make a purchase – you only need a valid debit/credit card.
